I am a Registered Psychologist, working in Cold Lake since 2018. I have grown up in the area, moving around the country in my younger years, living in a military family.
I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and almost 10 years of counselling and assessment experience. I utilize various approaches depending on each client, pulling different techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR therapy and others to work with individuals, guiding them in creating positive lasting change. I focus on a collaborative approach, encouraging co-development of goals, as well as the importance of feedback in order to ensure your needs and goals are being met.
Assessment involves an in-depth process to determine any relevant diagnoses and recommendations while looking at each individuals strengths and areas requiring support. I enjoy working with parents and schools to accurately assess and diagnose children so that they are able to receive the supports they require to achieve their full potential.
